Okay, it's not about me!
It's a book I've read recently and I'm totally lovin' it like mad! The story is good and I can totally imagine every single thing in my head that I've read from the book.
The author is Jenny Han, also writer of Shug and It's Not Summer Without
You.
This is what's written on the back of the book:
When each summer begins, Belly leaves her school life behind and escapes to Cousins Beach, the place she has spent every summer of her life. Not only does the beach house mean home away form home, but her favorite people are there: Susannah, her mother's best friend, and her sons, Conrad and Jeremiah. Belly has been chasing Conrad for as long as she can remember, and more than anything, she hopes this summer will be different. Despite distractions from a new guy named Cam and lingering looks from Conrad's brother, Jeremiah, Belly's heart belongs to Conrad. Will he offer his to her? Will this be the summer that changes everything?
Well, if you're interest, get your ass down to the bookstore and look for this book! If you're living in Singapore like I do, go to Kinokuniya. I guess any Kinokuniya store will do, but I bought the original version off the one at Bugis Junction. There's another UK version.
Why'd I chose this book? By coincidence. I was waiting for my sis so I went to Kinokuniya to look around. I was walking around the whole bookstore until I saw
Young Adults and I take a look. If you look carefully, this book is at the corner of the shelf so you'll have to look into it. And I just took it up to read it 'cause I'm really bored inside. I can't open the magazines to watch so I suppose I take a look what it's about.
Apparently, it seems interesting to me and I finished the book in less than 24 hours. I know I'm crazy but once you picked this book up, it's difficult to put it down again. There's rumor that it will turn into a movie and I pray hard for it. It will be good!! I'm so excited now, just thinking that it will become a movie. I'm trying to get the second book but it's far away to buy it. I have to go all the way the Takashimaya in Orchard just to buy the book just because I can't find it in Bugis Junction. I'l buy it, but maybe not for now.
